Brute Canal

"Brute Canal" is a 3rd person survival arena shooter where players plays as a cyberpunk tooth fairy. Tooth fairy’s gun can steal teeth from skulls and fire it back. Game. “Brute Canal” designed and developed during a VFS gamejam in Unity.

Served as a programmer & a level designer in team of 5.

Enemy AI

Enemies uses Unity’s nav mesh system. For flying enemies layers navigation paths baked with a different layer which is only available. After baking paths additional meshes deleted from the level.

Other then additional paths made for them, flying enemies have a random floating modifier on them changing their flight height dynamically in order to give more realistic movement.

Skull Town

Skull town is the city of the floating skulls. Tooth Fairy’s teeth hunt takes place in streets of this urban area.

Floating Skull

Floating Skulls are the basic enemy type in the game.

Walker

Walkers are the only enemy type then cannot fly. They can fire additional projectiles from their knees, which makes them the strong but easy to evade opponent.

EXPLODER

Exploders turn into the enraged state when they come close to the player. When they become enraged they charge into player, they do not rotate well during this state which makes them easier to dodge.

Teeth Guard

Teeth Guard is the strongest enemy in the game. Having their teeth in dynamic motion makes, harvesting teeth lot harder from them.
